Redcar Rocks Festival – 9th July – 10th July
12 bands, 12 comedians and two big tents which make up the Redcar Rocks event will equal one great weekend.
The festival will be held at Redcar Rugby Club, Mackinlay Park, from 11am to 11pm on Saturday, July 9 – with the opportunity to camp overnight to complete the real “festival experience”.
Music will include retro sounds from Sham 69 and Ska-Boom as well as Danny and The Champions of the World and The Watchers, among others.
The festival will also include comedy from TV’s Phil Nichol, Rob Rouse, Jason Cook, Matt Kirshenn, Rayguns Look Real Enough and a tent of other talent.
Other attractions will include fun fair rides and street performers.
The main arena opens at 12:00 noon on Saturday 9th July and will close after the last perfomance at around 11:15pm
Access to the camping area is from 10:00am on the 9th July and the campsite closes at 2:00pm on Sunday 10th July.
Tickets for the festival are now on sale via our ticket shop (http://shop.redcarrocksfestival.co.uk) and also via the Tourist Information Office, High St, Redcar (office hours) and from Redcar Rugby Club (evenings).
